Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to Collaborate on Green Energy Development

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have agreed to cooperate in the development and transfer of green energy.

The "Strategic Partnership Agreement between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the field of green energy development and transfer" was discussed at today's meeting of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Committee on Foreign and Interparliamentary Relations, The Caspian Post reports citing Report.

The agreement was developed to define new strategic frameworks for cooperation between the three countries in the energy sector.

To implement the agreement, a joint venture Green Corridor Association was established between Azerenerji OJSC, Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company, and National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan JSC, which will carry out necessary measures to prepare and implement the project's feasibility study.

After discussions, the draft was recommended for consideration at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
