At least nine civilians have been injured as Russian forces launched a new wave of strikes across Ukraine.
Russia fired an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 128 drones. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 107 drones, while the missile and 21 remaining drones hit 14 locations. Falling debris caused additional damage in one area, The Caspian Post reports via the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In Dnipropetrovsk, six people were wounded. Strikes in Kharkiv hit the regional capital and 11 other settlements, injuring two men aged 58 and 54 in Dvorichnyi Kut and Malynivka.
In Zaporizhzhia, a 73-year-old man was hurt in a drone strike. An early-morning attack on critical infrastructure left up to 41,000 residents without electricity, with around 8,000 still without power.
Power outages were also reported in Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia following attacks on energy facilities.
Russian forces also targeted oil and gas infrastructure in Poltava using drones, causing damage but no reported casualties, according to state-owned energy company Naftogaz.
