Turkish Ministers to Visit Pakistan July 9 to Boost Security and Regional Cooperation

Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan are set to visit Pakistan on July 9, for high-level discussions aimed at enhancing strategic ties.

The visit will focus on deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of defense industry and counterterrorism, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

Strengthening military collaboration and addressing mutual security challenges are expected to be at the core of the dialogue.

The two Turkish ministers will also exchange views on regional dynamics, with a particular focus on Afghanistan, where both countries have expressed interest in supporting peace and stability.

During the visit, Güler and Fidan are scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with senior officials from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry and top members of the military command.
