Azerbaijan’s sambo team delivered a stellar performance at the 3rd CIS Games, capturing a total of eight medals as their competition concluded on Monday.

The team’s impressive medal tally included two golds, three silvers, and three bronzes, showcasing their strength in the sport, The Caspian Post reports.

The 3rd CIS Games, featuring 1,624 athletes from 13 countries, will officially wrap up on October 8.
