Azerbaijani Alpine Skier Qualifies for 2026 Winter Games

Another Azerbaijani athlete has earned qualification for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

Alpine skier Anastasia Papathoma has officially secured her place at the prestigious event, which is scheduled to be held from February 6 to February 22, 2026, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

She becomes the second athlete from Azerbaijan to qualify for the upcoming Winter Games, following figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev, who had earlier confirmed his participation in the competition.
