A magnitude 4.3 earthquake has been recorded in Tajikistan’s Sughd Region.
The quake occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers. In the epicenter, tremors reached a strength of up to 5 points on the seismic intensity scale, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt with lower intensity:
Syrdarya Region - 2-3 points, located about 54 km from the epicenter.
Tashkent - approximately 133 km northeast of the epicenter.
The coordinates of the epicenter were 40.07° N latitude and 69.08° E longitude. No reports of damage or casualties have been received so far.
