Turkmen Leader Sends Heartfelt Condolences to Putin After Deadly Plane Crash in Amur

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a condolence message to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the tragic crash of an Angara Airlines passenger aircraft in Russia’s Amur Region.

In his condolence message, President Berdimuhamedov expressed profound sorrow over the loss of life in the aviation disaster, extending heartfelt support to the families and loved ones of the victims, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

“On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, and personally, I offer sincere condolences and words of support to the families and loved ones of those who perished,” the Turkmen leader said.

The incident occurred on July 24, when an Antonov An-24 aircraft crashed on a mountainside approximately 15 kilometers from the city of Tynda. Emergency crews later confirmed that all 49 people on board-including passengers and crew-had died in the accident.
