Turkmen Official Joins Doha Forum Session on Child Protection

Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Turkmen Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has visited Qatar.

During the visit, Atabayeva participated in a themed session at the Doha Forum titled “Protecting Children in the New Era: Advancing Inclusive Humanitarian Measures,” where she highlighted the Fund’s work and noted that Turkmenistan prioritizes maternal and child protection and the welfare of the younger generation, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

She also met with Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, and President of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned.

Atabayeva invited all participants to the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Promoting International Cooperation Towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” at the Avaza National Tourism Zone.

During her visit, she also toured the Sidra Medical and Research Center and the Museum of Islamic Art.
