Turkmen President Sends Condolences to Thailand, Indonesia

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has expressed deep condolences to Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto following severe floods caused by heavy rains, which resulted in numerous deaths, injuries, and widespread damage.

The Turkmen leader extended sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to all those affected, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

In late November 2025, Thailand and Indonesia experienced some of the worst floods in recent years. In Thailand, the southern provinces were heavily impacted, causing dozens of deaths, displacement of tens of thousands, and disruption of transport infrastructure. In Indonesia, heavy rains in Sumatra Province triggered floods and landslides, destroying bridges and hundreds of homes. Local authorities launched search, rescue, and relief operations, establishing temporary shelters for affected residents.
