Turkmenistan, Eswatini Cement Diplomatic Partnership at UN LLDC Conference

Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Eswatini formally established diplomatic relations during a signing ceremony held in Avaza, Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC).

The event was attended by the King of Eswatini, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The diplomatic protocol was signed by Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, and Pholile Shakantu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Eswatini.

This landmark agreement ushers in a new era of bilateral cooperation, with both countries highlighting opportunities for collaboration in energy, agriculture, and sustainable development. As members of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement, Turkmenistan and Eswatini are positioned to strengthen their partnership and work closely on the global stage.
