Turkmenistan, World Bank Discuss Boosting Global Transport Corridors at UN Conference

On the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference in Turkmenistan’s Avaza, a series of bilateral meetings aimed at deepening international cooperation continued, including a forum discussion between Galina Romanova, Director of the State Finance and Economic Policy Department at Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Finance and Economy, and Alexander Prodan, Lead Transport Economist at the World Bank.

The two sides engaged in detailed discussions on shaping a coordinated investment strategy for the development of international transport corridors, The Caspian Post reports per Turkmen media.

Emphasis was placed on the financial and economic frameworks required to support infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing global freight and passenger transportation networks.
