As of July 1, 2025, there are 223 enterprises with German capital in Uzbekistan. Of these, 100 are joint ventures, while 123 are fully foreign-owned companies.
Since the start of the year, the number of German-invested enterprises in the country has increased by 13, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.
Tashkent city leads with the highest concentration, housing 156 German-invested enterprises. Other regions with a significant presence include Tashkent Region with 21 enterprises, Samarkand Region with 15, Fergana Region with 8, Bukhara Region with 6, Namangan Region with 5, Jizzakh Region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan with 3 each, Kashkadarya and Navoi Regions with 2 each, and Andijan Region with 2 enterprises.
