Uzbekistan exported 8,800 tons of peppers valued at approximately $6.9 million between January and August 2025.
The country's pepper exports were mainly directed to Central Asian and European markets. Kazakhstan led as the largest importer, receiving 4,700 tons. It was followed by Kyrgyzstan with 1,900 tons and Spain with 1,100 tons, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Russia accounted for about 400 tons, while an additional 700 tons were exported to various other destinations, bringing the total number of countries receiving Uzbek peppers to 16.
