Russian Coffee Chain Gussi Coffee Taps Uzbek Market With Franchise Agreement

Natalia Sushko, co-owner of the Omsk-based coffee chain Gussi Coffee, has signed an agreement to launch the brand’s franchise in Uzbekistan.

The agreement paves the way for the company’s expansion into Uzbekistan’s market, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

In parallel, Sushko also reached preliminary arrangements to scale the franchise into China and India, reflecting the company’s broader ambitions for international growth.

The SCO Business Incubator program in Omsk gathered 37 participants, who showcased their projects to potential investors. The event attracted representatives from India, China, Uzbekistan, and Russia, highlighting regional interest in cross-border business development.

Founded in 2021 by Alexey Utiralov and Natalia Sushko, Gussi Coffee has grown into a recognizable coffee brand in Russia. The company opened its first café in Tashkent in January 2024, but as of August 25, 2025, the outlet remains closed.
