Uzbek Diplomats and Polish Labor Officials Team Up to Protect Uzbek Workers Abroad

Uzbek diplomats have held a constructive working meeting with Urszula Langer, Deputy Chief Inspector of Poland’s State Labor Inspectorate, focusing on protecting the rights of Uzbek workers in Poland, combating illegal employment, and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation and share practical experience.

Key discussion points included improving legal safeguards for Uzbek workers, harmonizing migration laws between Uzbekistan and Poland, and promoting the implementation of tripartite agreements, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Both sides also considered the possibility of signing a bilateral agreement on migration and mobility to further deepen their partnership.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Uzbek officials provided detailed insights into ongoing migration reforms in Uzbekistan, highlighting the objectives and activities of the country's Migration Agency. Polish representatives reaffirmed their readiness to collaborate and exchange expertise to ensure the rights and lawful interests of Uzbek labor migrants are protected.
