Uzbekistan-Belarus Trade Turnover for 2024 Unveiled

The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belarus surpassed $700 million in 2024.

This was revealed during a phone conversation between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Uzbekistan's president congratulated President of Belarus on his decisive victory in the recent presidential election, The Caspian Post reports citing Trend.

The leaders discussed the ongoing development of Uzbekistan-Belarus relations, particularly focusing on the practical implementation of agreements reached during President Lukashenko’s visit to Uzbekistan in February 2024.

It was highlighted that speeding up industrial cooperation projects across different sectors is crucial, while also maintaining robust business and interregional ties and nurturing vibrant cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

Moreover, the leaders took a good look at the calendar of forthcoming events designed to strengthen their partnership even more.
