From January to October 2025, Uzbekistan imported 3,300 tons of fish and seafood from Vietnam.
Overall, the country brought in 12,200 tons of seafood from 31 countries, totaling about $28.9 million. Compared to the same period in 2024, imports grew by 2,300 tons, or 23.3 per cent, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The largest supplier remains Russia with 5,800 tons, followed by Vietnam (3,300 tons) and Norway (1,000 tons). Other top suppliers include Lithuania (705.6 tons) and Kazakhstan (657.1 tons). Smaller shipments came from the UK, Faroe Islands, and other countries totaling 379.2 tons.
