Uzbek Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Jeenbek Kulubaev, to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and regional engagement.
The meeting underscored the enduring foundation of mutual trust and good-neighborly relations between the two Central Asian nations. Both ministers praised the current level of cooperation and expressed determination to build on the momentum, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The talks focused on expanding collaboration in several key areas, including trade, energy, transportation, and cultural exchange. The two sides also emphasized the importance of aligning efforts within multilateral institutions, particularly the United Nations, to advance shared regional priorities.
Saidov and Kulubaev reaffirmed their governments’ commitment to deepening their strategic partnership to support peace, stability, and sustainable development across Central Asia and beyond.
