Uzbekistan, Malaysia Discuss Strategic Ties in Pharma Innovation

A delegation from Malaysian Advancepact company has paid a visit to the Uzbek Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency to explore prospects for bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.

The meeting was led by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency, who engaged in detailed discussions with the visiting delegation, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Both parties gave presentations highlighting their respective activities, technological capabilities, and future priorities in the pharmaceutical field.

Advancepact, known for its global operations in project management, talent development, and biopharmaceutical technology solutions, expressed interest in working with Uzbekistan on a range of initiatives.

Talks centered around potential cooperation within the Tashkent Pharma Park, a major innovation-driven pharmaceutical cluster. Areas of discussion included the establishment of R&D centers, conducting clinical trials, manufacturing in compliance with international standards, and technology transfer initiatives.

The two sides agreed to continue the exchange of information and to jointly study opportunities for long-term strategic partnerships in support of Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing pharmaceutical industry.
