Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, has held productive talks with Murad Ali, head of Qatari investment firm Tamam International, focusing on collaboration in power generation and distribution, logistics infrastructure modernization, and the development of tourism and advanced medical complexes.
Tamam International, a leading player in Qatar’s investment landscape, is actively involved in large-scale projects spanning energy, transport and logistics, tourism, and healthcare sectors, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
The firm has demonstrated keen interest in expanding its footprint across Central Asia.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to forging a mutually beneficial partnership. Following the discussion, Kudratov proposed establishing a joint working group, which will include representatives from Tamam International and relevant Uzbek government agencies, tasked with advancing these initiatives in a systematic and coordinated manner.
