Uzbekistan’s outbound tourism has surged by 25% year-on-year, with nearly 6.4 million citizens traveling abroad between January and October 2025.
This marks an increase of nearly 1.3 million people, or 24.7%, compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee, The Caspian Post reports, Uzbek media.
The top destinations for Uzbek tourists during the reporting period were: Kyrgyzstan (2.8 million), Kazakhstan (1.2 million), Tajikistan (1.1 million), Russia (370,100), Saudi Arabia (237,100), Türkiye (230,800), the UAE (114,100), Egypt (56,200), China (39,600), and Vietnam (32,800). Other countries collectively accounted for 204,100 trips.
The statistics highlight a continued preference for regional travel, particularly to neighboring Central Asian states, while destinations in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia remain popular among Uzbek tourists seeking diverse cultural and recreational experiences.
