Uzbekistan’s Tea Market Brews Up Strong Imports in H1 2025

Uzbekistan imported a total of 15,553 tons of tea valued at $23.3 million during the first six months of 2025.

China remained the dominant supplier, providing 12,475 tons of tea to the Uzbek market, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.

Following China, Kenya held the second position with 659 tons imported, while Iran, Kazakhstan, and India contributed 538, 468, and 382 tons respectively.

Imports from other countries collectively amounted to 1,031 tons during the period.
