Uzbekistan, South Korea Join Forces to Enhance Healthcare, Education, and Social Protection

Bahrom Abdullaev, Chair of the Senate Committee on Science, Education, and Healthcare of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis (parliament), has held talks with a South Korean delegation led by Lee Soon-jin, Deputy Chair of the National Assembly’s Health and Welfare Committee, to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in healthcare, education, science, and social protection.

Both parties reviewed the current state of collaboration and explored opportunities to expand it further, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Discussions placed particular emphasis on sharing best practices in healthcare system development, enhancing medical education and professional training, adopting cutting-edge medical technologies, and fostering joint educational and scientific projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue active dialogue and promote the implementation of joint initiatives designed to enhance the quality of life for citizens in both countries.
