Uzbekistan, Türkiye Strengthen Strategic Ties

Uzbekistan and Türkiye continue deepening their strategic partnership, driven by strong leadership and long-standing mutual trust.

Alisher Agzamkhodjayev, Chairman of the Uzbek Senate Committee on International Relations, met online with Osman Mesten, head of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan Interparliamentary Cooperation Group, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Both sides emphasized that close dialogue between the countries’ leaders has fostered steady bilateral cooperation, with growing inter-parliamentary ties playing a key role.

The meeting highlighted experience exchange in lawmaking, ratifying international agreements, and ensuring their effective implementation. Participants also discussed establishing regular dialogue mechanisms, expanding direct parliamentary contacts, and promoting joint initiatives to strengthen cooperation.

Previously, Uzbekistan and Iran explored new investment and technology projects at a joint forum.
