Armenia and China have maintained diplomatic relations since December 27, 1992. Over the years, the two countries have developed steady political, economic, and cultural ties.
Bilateral cooperation spans areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure development, technology, and education. China has supported several projects in Armenia under its Belt and Road Initiative, while Armenia seeks to attract Chinese investment to boost its economy.
High-level visits and regular political consultations have reinforced mutual understanding, with both countries emphasizing the importance of expanding cooperation in science, culture, tourism, and regional security.
