Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris to discuss strategic bilateral relations, according to the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office.
The leaders focused on economic cooperation, infrastructure projects, and other sectors, reaffirming the strategic importance of Armenia-France ties and their commitment to continue advancing collaboration, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
Regional issues were also addressed, with Macron extending congratulations on the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The discussions included the TRIPP project and ongoing efforts to unblock regional connectivity routes, with Pashinyan updating Macron on progress. The leaders also explored further Armenia-European Union cooperation, emphasizing the need to steadily expand relations under the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda.
