Kazakhstan Tops Central Asia in Global Reputation Ranking

Kazakhstan has emerged as Central Asia’s top-ranked country in the 2026 CEOWORLD Global Country Reputation Index, reinforcing its growing international standing and regional influence.

According to the global ranking, Kazakhstan placed 69th out of 197 countries worldwide, achieving the highest position among all Central Asian nations, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

The study evaluated countries across 10 major categories and 50 indicators, including economic strength, government effectiveness, investment appeal, innovation, technology development, and foreign policy performance.

Kazakhstan also ranked second among CIS countries with an overall reputation score of 66.62 points.

Other regional states placed lower in the ranking, including Belarus in 89th place, Armenia in 93rd, Azerbaijan in 101st, Uzbekistan in 134th, Kyrgyzstan in 145th, and Tajikistan in 160th place.

Singapore topped the global ranking.

The CEOWORLD editorial board noted that a country’s reputation has become a measurable strategic asset influencing competitiveness, prosperity and global influence.

According to the report’s authors, international reputation today increasingly depends on trust, quality governance, innovation and the ability to build sustainable global partnerships - factors that are reshaping global influence in the modern era.
