Georgia’s Exports Hit Record USD 7.2 Billion in 2025

Preliminary figures from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) showed that Georgia's export performance significantly improved in 2025, with total exports reaching USD 7.29 billion, marking an 11.2% increase compared to the previous year. The data excludes non-declared exports.

Domestic exports accounted for nearly half of total shipments abroad. In value terms, exports of domestically produced goods amounted to USD 3.37 billion, up 12.5% year-on-year, representing 46.2% of Georgia’s total exports, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

Trade flows remained highly concentrated among a limited number of partners. The ten largest destination countries absorbed 68.9% of Georgia’s domestic exports in 2025. Russia emerged as the leading market with USD 700.7 million in domestic exports, followed by China at USD 301.9 million and Türkiye at USD 298.8 million.

In terms of product structure, precious metal ores and concentrates topped the list of domestically exported goods, generating USD 378.9 million and accounting for 11.3% of total domestic exports. Wine made from fresh grapes ranked second, with exports totaling USD 266.5 million or 7.9% of the domestic export basket. Spirituous beverages followed closely, reaching USD 236.8 million and representing 7.0% of domestic exports.
