Iran Reopens Western Airspace for Round-the-Clock Flights

Iran’s civil aviation authority announced on Tuesday that it has reopened the western part of the country’s airspace, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu.

According to the aviation authority, “the western airspace of the country, like the eastern airspace, has been activated for operational use and is available around the clock.”

The authority stated that the necessary arrangements have been made to permit both domestic flights and transit flights through Iranian airspace.

It further noted that “all airports across the country are authorized to operate in line with the regulations and conditions outlined in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).”

The aviation authority also clarified that Kish and Asaluyeh airports in southern Iran will continue operating between sunrise and sunset.
