Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh stated that the Islamic Republic possesses advanced, domestically developed missile technology capable of overcoming Israeli defense systems.
Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh says that Iran’s Armed Forces successfully struck many of Israeli military targets in a recent aggression, overcoming its defense systems with advanced, domestically developed missile technology, The Caspian Post reports citing Mehr news.
At a session attended by parliamentary and defense officials on Wednesday, Nasirzadeh noted that the Israeli imposed war demonstrated the vulnerability of Israel’s defense infrastructure, despite Western support, proving that Israel is not invincible.
The Islamic Republic could overcome Israeli defense systems with advanced, domestically developed missile technology, he said.
Parliament members lauded the Armed Forces’ performance and pledged continued support for expanding Iran’s defense capabilities across various technological domains.
Israel launched attacks on Iran on June 13, killing more than 1,000 people during its 12-day aggression. The United States entered the conflict on June 22, bombing three of Iran’s nuclear sites. Iran responded strongly to both aggressors, which made the aggressors ask for a ceasefire.
