Belarus has expressed interest in sharing its expertise with Kazakhstan in organizing efficient production of tractors and harvesters. This collaboration aims to enhance Kazakhstan’s agricultural machinery sector by leveraging Belarus’s longstanding experience in the field.
The matter was discussed during the negotiations between Belarus’ Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Yersayin Nagaspayev, according to the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry, The Caspian Post reports citing BelTA.
The two ministers held talks during the working visit to Kazakhstan. Ambassador of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov was also present.
The parties discussed prospects for advancing industrial interaction of the two countries, expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of cooperation, and emphasized the need to further deepen mutually beneficial ties. Special attention was paid to the further development of agricultural engineering in Kazakhstan.
The Belarusian side confirmed readiness to share advanced technologies and experience in arranging efficient production of tractors and harvesters on the Kazakh market, the Industry Ministry noted. The meeting became an important stage in building up a new level of partnership between Belarus and Kazakhstan, the press service added. The same day meetings with heads of Belarus’ commodity distribution networks and AO Agromashholding KZ enterprise took place in Astana with the participation of Aleksei Bogdanov.
The current state of the Belarusian-Kazakh industrial cooperation was discussed in detail. The parties elaborated on ways to optimize operations of Belarusian commodity distribution networks in order to improve supply chain logistics and to create conditions for promoting Belarusian products, and ways to further advance bilateral trade and economic interaction.
Special attention was paid to the potential for joint development of innovative solutions in the agricultural industry, including creation of modern types of equipment and mechanisms for agriculture, and to studying possible forms of integration of production capacities of the two countries.
