Erdoğan will hold official talks in Astana with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding strategic cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via TRT Haber.

The two leaders are expected to convene the Türkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, where economic ties, energy collaboration, and investment opportunities will be at the center of discussions.

A key agenda item is boosting trade turnover between the two countries to $15 billion, alongside plans to sign a series of new bilateral agreements and engage in a joint business forum with industry leaders.

Following the Astana meetings, Erdoğan will travel to Turkistan to attend an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

The summit is expected to address pressing regional and global issues, including developments in the Middle East, as well as bilateral consultations between member state leaders, underscoring the growing geopolitical role of the Turkic bloc.
