Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Estonian President Alar Karis have addressed the Kazakh-Estonian Business Forum in Astana, underscoring fresh momentum for strengthening trade and investment ties.
President Tokayev noted that the gathering of both countries’ business communities will help accelerate cooperation across key sectors, including transport and logistics, digitalization, agriculture, industry, finance, and education, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
He also reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to fully support Estonian companies looking to expand their presence in the country.
President Karis also delivered remarks, emphasizing the strong potential for deepening bilateral economic relations.
On the sidelines of the forum, Kazakh and Estonian companies signed 11 agreements worth more than $517 million, marking a major step forward in economic collaboration.
The event followed a bilateral meeting between the two leaders on November 17 at Akorda, where President Karis highlighted opportunities for broader cooperation. He outlined his vision for expanding connectivity, boosting tech partnerships, and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations.
