Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has held a meeting at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Addressing participants, the president stressed that large-scale transformations are underway in Kazakhstan, including constitutional reform and a transition to a new political system, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
He noted that modern realities require the active integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence across all spheres of public life.
Tokayev proposed enshrining the “Law and Order” principle in the new edition of the Constitution, describing it as a cornerstone of state policy.
“Law and Order must be regarded as a fundamental principle of state policy. This vital postulate will never lose its relevance. I believe it must be included in the new edition of the Constitution. A key role in its implementation is assigned to the Prosecutor General’s Office, whose employees have no right to remain indifferent or calmly observe violations of the law,” the president said.
The meeting featured remarks by Prosecutor General Berik Assylov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of AI and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, Presidential Aide Kuanyshbek Yessekeyev, and Minister of Internal Affairs Yerzhan Sadenov.
The discussion underscored the authorities’ focus on strengthening the rule of law while aligning governance with digital transformation as Kazakhstan reshapes its constitutional and institutional framework.
