Kazakh Shooter Strikes Gold at Italian Green Cup

Kazakh shooter Maxim Pochivalov has won the gold medal in the junior skeet shooting category at the prestigious Italian Open Green Cup held in Todi.

Representing the city of Shymkent and a member of Kazakhstan’s national shooting team, Pochivalov’s victory underscores the strength and skill of Kazakhstan’s shooters on the global stage, The Caspian Post report via Kazakh media.

The Green Cup, which started on July 7 and continues through July 21, brings together over 400 athletes from 33 countries.

Kazakhstan’s delegation includes 36 top shooters competing in both individual and team events in the trap and skeet disciplines.

This July has been a busy period for Kazakh athletes, with numerous competitions taking place both within the country and abroad.
