Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held a telephone conversation on Friday to discuss cooperation in key areas, including the energy sector, finance, and investment, according to the Kazakh Presidency, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.
A statement said Tokayev and Orbán reaffirmed their commitment to a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary while reviewing the implementation of previous agreements.
They explored opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector and other economic domains, emphasizing their shared interest in enhancing bilateral ties.
They also expressed a determination to strengthen cooperation within international organizations and exchanged views on regional and global issues.
Orban accepted Tokayev’s invitation to visit Kazakhstan.
