Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with President of the European Council António Costa at the latter’s initiative.
The sides discussed the pressing issues and prospects for enhancing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazinform.
The Kazakh leader highlighted the positive dynamics of relations with the EU, including within the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, pointing to the importance of deepening ties in trade, investment, energy, transport and logistics, sustainable development and digital transformation.
Both sides confirmed their readiness for further dialogue and practical interaction in a wide range of bilateral and regional agenda.
Following the conversation, the Head of State invited António Costa to pay a visit to Kazakhstan.
