The presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan signed a Joint Statement following high-level bilateral talks, reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation.
The two leaders also endorsed the resolutions of the 7th session of the Supreme Interstate Council, underscoring the importance of regional partnership, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
As part of the visit, members of the official delegations inked a roadmap to increase bilateral trade turnover to $3 billion by 2030, alongside several other intergovernmental and interagency agreements aimed at boosting collaboration in key sectors.
The presidents also took part in the Supreme Interstate Council meeting, which reviewed progress on previous commitments and outlined new areas for cooperation.
During his official trip, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Ata Beyit National Memorial Complex near Bishkek, paying tribute to the historical legacy of the Kyrgyz people.
