Kazakhstan’s Astana Concert Producer Hints at Shakira’s Possible Performance

Malik Khassenov, producer at Kazakhstan’s Astana Concert, has announced that Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira may be heading to Kazakhstan for a performance.

The news came to light after popular blogger Kamil Bairamov shared a video on social media suggesting that Khassenov had invited the global music star to the country, The Caspian Post reports per Kazakh media.

“I’ll let you in on a little secret - we are currently negotiating with her,” Khassenov said. “If everything goes according to plan, we expect to finalize the agreement this fall. Stay tuned for updates.”
