Kazakhstan, South Korea Pledge Stronger Ties in Trade, Culture, and Development

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung have held a phone talk to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations, with a focus on expanding cooperation in trade, economic development, culture, and humanitarian exchange.

Both sides emphasized the importance of ensuring the successful implementation of ongoing and future joint projects in key sectors such as manufacturing, energy, mechanical engineering, education, and healthcare, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

President Tokayev accepted an official invitation from President Lee to visit South Korea and confirmed his readiness to participate in the Central Asia-South Korea Summit slated for 2026.
