A TL-2000 light aircraft crashed in Astana. There were two crew members on board, they died, The Caspian Post informs via KazTAG.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the plane crash occurred today, June 22, 2025, at about 11:30.
"The aircraft was performing a training flight in the area of the Zholaman airfield. The plane belongs to a private individual. According to preliminary data, there were two crew members on board, both died," the department explained.
A commission has now been created to investigate the incident.
Employees of the Department for Investigation of Transport Accidents and Incidents of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan went to the scene of the disaster.
