Tokayev Hails Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Between Kazakhstan, China

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered his congratulations to China’s President Xi Jinping on the occasion of China’s Spring Festival.

In his congratulatory letter, Tokayev extended Chinese New Year greetings to Chairman Xi Jinping and the people of China, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

The Kazakh leader expressed warm wishes on the occasion of the holiday, symbolizing renewal and unity, kindness and creation. Tokayev also wished Xi Jinping success in implementing his strategic initiatives and achieving noble objectives of ensuring the country’s prosperity.

"I note with great satisfaction the eternal and comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China, which becomes stronger with each passing day and serves as an example of unwavering friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation. I commend your contribution to this noble cause and confirm our interest in further deepening our multifaceted interaction with China," reads the letter.

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev chaired the extended meeting of the Kazakh Government in Astana.
