18yo Girl Dies After Falling From Amusement Ride in Osh Park

An 18-year-old girl died after falling from an amusement ride at a recreational park in the city of Osh today on September 21, The Caspian Post informs via AKIPress.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on one of the rides at the Navoi Park. Three friends had gone on the ride called "Lotka". While playing, one of them fell from a height of 8 meters.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but the girl died from her injuries before reaching the hospital.

"When we arrived, the girl was no longer breathing. Unfortunately, she had already passed away," a medical worker said.

According to the emergency service, the call was received at 13:14, and ambulance arrived at the scene by 13:17, where they confirmed her death.

The Osh city police has confirmed that an investigation into the incident has been launched.

In April 2025, during a staff meeting of the Osh city mayor's office, it was noted that some amusement rides in the city's recreational parks were operating without passing technical inspections. It was also emphasized that strict control over safety regulations was necessary.
