A tragic fire at a nursing home in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, has claimed the lives of two people and left 14 others injured.
The injured are receiving treatment at Bishkek Clinical Emergency Hospital, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Thirteen patients were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning, while one suffered first-degree burns. Four patients are in moderate condition, two are in serious condition, and eight are reported to be in relatively stable condition.
Health Minister Kanybek Dosmambetov visited the hospital to assess treatment and ensure that all necessary medical care is being provided to the victims of the fire.
