The prestigious Golden Eagle luxury tourist train has arrived at Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek-2 railway station, where it was warmly received by representatives of the state enterprise NC Kyrgyz Temir Jolu (Kyrgyz Railways).
The train carried over 60 foreign tourists eager to explore Kyrgyzstan’s rich heritage and natural beauty, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The journey began on September 29, with the train first stopping at Balykchy station in the picturesque Issyk-Kul region. During their stay, the travelers visited several of the region’s historical, cultural, and natural attractions, immersing themselves in the local charm and landscape.
Following their excursion in Issyk-Kul, the group returned to Bishkek to continue their exploration of the capital’s sights and experience.
This arrival marks one of approximately seven foreign tourist trains to visit Kyrgyzstan so far in 2025, with more expected in October. The increasing number of tourist trains underscores Kyrgyzstan’s growing popularity as a sought-after destination for international travelers seeking unique and luxurious travel experiences.
