Kyrgyz Entrepreneurs Among Leading Foreign Investors in Russia

Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are emerging as key players in Russia’s business landscape, ranking among the top three foreign investors in 2025.

In 2025, foreign entrepreneurs set up more businesses in Russia than ever before, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Last year, 8,932 legal entities with foreign founders were registered, bringing the total number of companies with foreign participation in the country to 66,202.

Most new ventures came from China, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, as analysts note that entrepreneurs from friendly countries are quick to seize new opportunities following the exit of Western investors. Experts say the shift is also driven by reconfigured supply chains, new logistics routes, and rising demand for trading, warehousing, and service operations.
