Kyrgyz President Arrives in China for State Visit

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Beijing on a state visit at the invitation of Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The press service of the Kyrgyz president said that Sadyr Japarov was met by Minister of Housing, Urban and Rural Development of the People's Republic of China Ni Hong and other officials, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

In accordance with the program of the visit, tomorrow, February 5, in Beijing, President Japarov will hold talks with Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, as well as with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Zhao Leji.

During the visit, it is planned to sign a number of important intergovernmental agreements, and toadopt a joint declaration of the two states on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership. In addition, President Sadyr Japarov will take part in the opening ceremony of the IX Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
