Kyrgyz President Receives Official Invitation to Visit Georgia - VIDEO

Georgia and Kyrgyzstan signaled a new phase in their partnership as Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze invited Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to pay an official visit to Georgia.

The invitation came after high-level talks in Bishkek, where the two sides held a joint press conference following the signing of multiple bilateral agreements aimed at expanding cooperation across key sectors, The Caspian Post reports via AKIPress.

Kobakhidze described Kyrgyzstan as not only an important and reliable partner but also a friendly nation. He said discussions covered a broad range of issues, including trade and economic relations, transport and logistics, tourism, regional and global developments, and cooperation within international organizations.

President Japarov emphasized that relations between the two countries are built on mutual trust, respect and long-term partnership. He noted that the talks were held in an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere.

The president noted that major items on the bilateral agenda, including political dialogue, trade, investment, sectoral cooperation, and the expansion of cultural and humanitarian ties, were reviewed.

The meeting concluded with Kobakhidze’s invitation for an official visit to Georgia.
