Kyrgyzstan’s national physics team has proudly secured two bronze medals at the 2025 International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), one of the world’s most prestigious academic competitions for high school students.
The event took place in Paris, bringing together more than 400 participants from 94 countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
Each contestant had previously passed rigorous national selection rounds and undergone intensive training.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by a team of five students, who demonstrated their knowledge and skills in challenging theoretical and experimental physics tasks, competing alongside the most talented young physicists from across the globe.
