Kyrgyzstan has signed a series of cooperation agreements with several leading Russian universities in a move to enhance the skills and capacity of its agricultural workforce.
The agreements, established between Russian agricultural institutions and Kyrgyz vocational schools, lyceums, and colleges, aim to improve specialist training within the country’s agro-industrial complex - a key sector for Kyrgyzstan’s economy, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
The partnership focuses on critical areas such as agronomy, animal husbandry (zootechnics), veterinary medicine, and biotechnology. These disciplines are expected to play a vital role in the modernization and long-term development of the agricultural sector.

Under the framework of the agreements, the parties will implement joint educational programs, facilitate internships for students and young professionals, and exchange best practices and expertise.
